Patagonia tour

Picture perfect Patagonia

Next tour = 10 – 29 November 2024 (20 days/19 nights) ex Santiago, Chile.

Bookings now open. Places are limited to 10.

Patagonia is not a country but an area – remote, expansive, fragile, stunningly beautiful, wild yet safe – the awe-inspiring scenery at the end of the world is so hard to describe; it has to be seen and felt. There are lakes of every colour, from inky blue to aquamarine, turquoise and emerald green framed by soaring snow-capped mountains fringed with lush Nothofagus forest and open grassy plains. You’ll travel through fjords, National parks and protected areas; you’ll see marble caves, condor, pink flamingos, black-necked swans, guanaco, rhea and, if you are lucky, maybe a puma or huemule ( a small deer).

Spend two weeks in the heartland of Patagonia (in both Chile and Argentina), exploring mountains that speak to the universe, glistening glaciers with ice-blue bergs, rivers that race to the sea, fabulous fjords, and dazzling desert.

Private guided transport along Caretera Austral in Chile exploring sites including cultural sites and the Patagonia National Park Biosphere (5 days). Ferry through the Chilean labrynthine fjords to Puerto Natales (2 days/2 nights). Visit Torres del Paine National Park for walking, including a catamaran trip to the Grey glacier (2 days). Transfer to El Calafate (Argentina) to visit the Perito Moreno glacier and petrified forest – both amazing (5 days). Transfer to El Chalten for walks and spectacular views of iconic Mt Fitz Roy (3 days). Finish in Puerto Natales, Chile.
